About

ShedSpace is a practice tool for bass players as well as a full music practice website (https://shedspaceapp.com). A combined metronome and drone tone generator that lives in the Anagram signal chain. It is designed to be used during solo practice sessions ("shed time") without requiring a phone, computer, or separate device. Metronome A full-featured click track generator with configurable time signature, subdivision, and accent pattern. The click sound is a woodblock (synthesized, no samples). The metronome can be toggled on or off independently of the drone. Drone Tone Generator A sustaining pitch reference built from an ensemble-style synthesizer engine — designed to sound like strings or synth pads rather than a bare oscillator. The player sets a root note, octave, and chord voicing. A "Character" control varies the tonal quality from clean and bright to warm and dark. Both components can run simultaneously, independently, or separately. The bass signal always passes through. Bypass Behaviour Bypass passes the bass signal through completely unchanged Toggling bypass off resets the metronome beat to 1 (no mid-bar re-entry)
