Anagram Reviews ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website at anagramblocks.com. This page explains what information we collect when you use our site and how we use it.

Information We Collect

When you log in with Google or Facebook, we receive the following from that account:

We do not receive your password, contacts, posts, or anything else from those accounts.

If you create an account with a username and password instead, we store your username, your email address, and your password in scrambled (hashed) form. Nobody, including the site admin, can read your password.

We also store what you choose to add to the site: reviews, replies, likes, wishes and votes, video links, and messages you send through the Contact page.

How We Use Your Information

We use this information solely to:

We never send newsletters or marketing email, and your email address is never shown on the site. Every daily email has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn it off at any time.

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to any third parties. Account emails are delivered by our email provider, Resend, which receives only the address and the message it is delivering.

Marketplace links

When you click Buy on Marketplace or Get Free on Marketplace, we count the click (which block and when, plus your account if you're logged in) so we know how many visitors the site sends to the Marketplace. The link also tells the Darkglass Marketplace that the visit came from Anagram Reviews. Nothing is shared about you, and we never see what you buy or anything about payment.

We also count how often the light/dark switch is used, with no information about who used it.

Data Storage

Your information is stored securely in our database. We retain it for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time through the Contact page.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you log out or close your browser.

We only set visit-statistics cookies if you choose Allow on the visit-stats notice (see below).

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

To understand how the site is used, such as which pages and blocks are viewed most and roughly which countries visitors come from, we use Google Analytics.

Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Contact

If you have questions about this policy or want your account and data deleted, send us a message through the Contact page (log in first, then choose "Just saying hi / other"). We'll reply there.
