Arcadia U7

About

The ubiquitous clean preamp and studio direct box found in Geddy Lee’s rig and studios around the world, now on a pedal. Arcadia U7 recreates the direct box that’s earned a lasting place in professional studios. Clear, extended response and an unmistakably polished direct sound, adding weight without cloudiness, presence without harshness, with Class-A Amplification that adds a subtle coloration, making the source feel larger, smoother, and more complete. Boost — adds gain in +3 dB increments. Raise it until the blue Signal LED just starts to stay lit across the dynamic range of your playing. Tone — seven broad, musical EQ curves. The first six are mapped from the original unit, while the seventh is Joe’s own voicing, adding a little extra cut-through for modern electric bass. Arcadia U7 is also available for desktop.
