About
Picking Fingers is a zero-latency bass block designed to transform the playing character of your signal between fingerstyle and pick. Built from matched recordings of real bass performances, it uses precision voicing filters to change the tone and attack instantly while preserving the weight of the low end. Choose your preferred playing character with the Voice control, shape the measured per-note response with Attack, and use Bite to add gritty definition to the front of each note without affecting sustained tones. A plus/minus 6 dB Tone control provides additional tonal shaping, while standard input and output trims make level matching easy - especially since you’ll likely have this at the beginning of your chain. Play with a pick and print it as fingers, or play with fingers and print it as a pick. Because the processing is zero latency, it works the same whether you reach for it while tracking or leave it on the board.Features FINGERS voices a picked signal as fingerstyle PICK voices a fingerstyle signal as picked BITE adds measured attack grit to the front of each note TONE is a gentle plus/minus 6 dB tilt, bit-exact flat at 0 IN and OUT trims for easy level matching Zero latency, so it works while tracking or on the board
