About

Bass Cab Ultimate is a zero-latency cabsim loaded with a collection of 500 ms IRs recorded from various bass cabinets. The plugin includes a total of 80 impulses: 20 unique cabinets with 4 variations each.Rather than raw ā€œcab + micā€ snapshots, Bass Cab Ultimate impulses are multi-mic mixes with studio frequency correction applied. For each cabinet, a set of mics was picked (1–4 mics and one sub mic) to best capture the cab’s character.Bass Cab Ultimate cabinets are perfectly in phase with one another, allowing them to be blended together without comb filtering or loss of low-end frequencies. The pack includes 20 bass cab impulses, each with 4 character options: Bright: A brighter, more open sound. Focused: A tighter and more focused tone. Balanced: The sum of Bright and Focused types, offering a balanced sound. Extended: Covers an extended range of the cab’s frequencies. It’s a highly precise in-phase mix of the Balanced version and the DI signal, using only the lows and highs from the DI CabinetsBass Cab Ultimate contains legendary bass cabs as well as unique cabs specifically designed for studio work: 1.
