RED CROWN is a complete true-stereo guitar amp rig built around a detailed nonlinear BC108 Booster, a multistage British Amp model, movable four-band EQ, output-stage character and eight speaker voices.

Sonic Morph reshapes modern humbuckers through the Linear Booster toward the response of Red Special-style series-wired pickups hitting a legendary treble booster, while Stereo Drive adds separation without relying on chorus or delay effects.

SPATIAL creates the impression of an amplifier playing in front of you in the room, rather than inside your headphones. The effect feels natural and spacious, without obvious chorus or distracting echoes.

MULTISTAGE BRITISH AMP ARCHITECTURE

At the heart of RED CROWN is a multistage British Amp model based on the classic Normal Channel architecture: ECC83 preamp, phase splitter, 4× EL84 push-pull output stage and output transformer — deliberately without a conventional tone stack, preserving dynamics and avoiding the frequency-dependent phase shift such networks introduce.

Its nonlinear stages interact, so pushing the amp harder changes more than the amount of distortion — pick attack, dynamics and input level all influence the harmonic response.

The BC108 Booster is modelled as a precise nonlinear transistor circuit network — not just as a generic nonlinear shaper.

The movable four-band EQ can be placed PRE BOOSTER, PRE AMP or POST AMP, allowing it to shape what drives the nonlinear stages or contour the finished tone.

The Output Stage Age Pot adds the variable crossover distortion associated with an ageing cathode-bypass capacitor in a push-pull output stage.

An original Alnico Blue forms the speaker reference, with four carefully selected and instantly recallable mic positions from cap to edge — without the guesswork of continuously variable mic positioning.

G12-100, G12H Anniversary, Vintage 30 and an anechoic Blue complete the eight speaker voices, with independent left/right selection.
