Together, they forged something new: IV-4N Tube Compressor. This is @ivanbassist's signature compressor, built to deliver the exact warmth and the exact compression your tone has been waiting for. Not just tube saturation. Magic, engineered. Controls Peak Reduction: This is your compression threshold control. Turning the knob to the right drops the threshold level, that makes the unit to clamp down more aggressively and apply heavier compression to your signal. Makeup Gain: Because compressing an audio signal naturally makes it quieter, you use this control to boost the final output volume back up. Tweaking this knob only changes the output level; it will not alter how much the audio is actually being compressed. Mode: This toggle lets you choose between two distinct styles of dynamic control. In "Compress" mode, the unit applies a smoother, more musical compression ratio. Flipping it to "Limit" engages a much more aggressive, hard-limiting ratio to strictly control peaks.
