I love distortion on my bass, it's part of my basic sound, I normally play rock, not metal, well it's a mix of styles on that spectrum. I want a block with the range and parameters that the BADDER MONKEY offers. I know that we already have many distortion blocks and of course Entropia from Darkglass, even in these options I include blocks for guitar, I use pedals designed on their basis for guitar, such as the DS-1 or the RAT, and I have managed to generate tones that I really like.
I think it's a good idea to have something like Entropia to find a super specific sound in distortion, where you spend hour after hour studying, learning and applying a million options. But sometimes I also like the idea of a block with a specific range, I know with this block the type of texture you can get. For example, with the RAT I know I can use it for hard rock and rock rhythm sections, the BOSS ODB3 for songs with a more modern feel, and the DS-1, if I want to make a background to support the guitar solos in my bands.
This is the situation or characteristic that I love about Anagrama... you can't have limits, with simple blocks and with super developed blocks with three or more pages of controls.
BADDER MONKEY. It seems like a good idea to develop a block with its reference...
